Following a development heavy second quarter of the year, xTrace Systems Ltd has launched two additional features for their Factory Production Management System, xTrace.app.
The first new addition to the xTrace.app core package is the Translations module, and the best part? It’s completely free! While it might sound like just a language editor, it’s actually much more powerful.
In many systems, you’ll often see generic field names on the user interface that can make the experience feel less intuitive. This doesn’t impact how the system works, but it can make things less user-friendly. The new Translations module allows you to customize those standard field names to something more meaningful in the language of your choice.
For example, if a field is labeled “ExtraText1” by default, you can easily change it to something more helpful like “Serving Instructions.” This simple tweak makes the interface much more intuitive and personalized for users.

This new feature allows both xTrace Systems Ltd and users to create helpful articles with text and images, making it easy to get assistance whenever needed. xTrace Systems will leverage this tool to provide in-app access to user manuals, detailed tips, and step-by-step guides on using specific features. Our goal is to develop this into a context-sensitive help system, ensuring you get the right help exactly when you need it.
